Preserves

We create a range of seasonal preserves throughout the year using traditional recipes and all natural ingredients. The availability of individual preserves varies according to the seasons.

Blueberry Jam

Our super simple recipe combines just-picked blueberries, sugar and fresh lemon juice. This lets our delicious spray-free blueberries be the star of our summer jam.

Smoked Chilli Chutney

This is one our most popular preserves. 'Smokey Ben' grows and then cold smokes Jalapeno chillies before adding them to this tomato-based chutney, giving it a wonderfully complex flavour.

Heirloom Tomato Chutney

Bread and Butter Cucumber

A lovely pre-dinner snack. This old-fashioned recipe has the perfect balance of sweet and sour.

Habanero and Lime Hot Sauce

Stand back - this one kicks! This hot sauce has a generous serve of hot Habanero chilli on a green tomato base, with a touch of lime. This sugar-free sauce is a great way to spice up Mexican food or a curry.

Spiced Mandarin Marmalade

The bright citrus notes of mandarin are matched beautifully in this whole fruit marmalade with the warming tones of cinnamon.

Apply Quince and Rhubarb Jam

This versatile winter jam has a gorgeous burgundy colour that is almost as good as its unique flavour. With its quince base, this jam is equally at home on a piece of toast as it is on a cheese platter.

Balsamic Red Onion Chutney

If vintage cheddar cheese had a best friend - it would be our Balsamic Red Onion Chutney.

Cara Cara Orange Marmalade
