We grow spray-free berries and transform them into preserves using the old ways - methods our grandparents would recognise.

A croft is a traditional name for a small patch of good farming land with a cottage, and that's exactly what Berrycroft is. We work at a scale where every plant and every jar matters. The volcanic soils and cool climate around Newlyn create berries of exceptional flavour—that's why we farm here, on Dja Dja Wurrung land in Victoria's Central Highlands near Daylesford.

We pick seasonal fruit at peak flavour and stir small batches by hand. No chemicals, no industrial shortcuts. We even hand-print our labels on a 1926 letterpress printer, because some things are worth doing slowly. Small is beautiful. There's wisdom in the old ways. This is farming and food-making as it should be: patient, uncompromising, with real flavour as the reward.
